- Implementation of MFA/2FA is a decision that many companies are making to increase security when it comes to accessing critical business applications, like iDashboards. In this implementation of MFA, we have utilized the option to require email verification for user-account logins.
- Optional to implement - You choose when you want to enable this feature.
- Templates - Customize email templates for up to 9x different purposes, such as:

- More ways to use TXT/CSV files as a data source
- TXT/CSV files are still a popular source of data for certain implementation needs. Therefore, we now have multiple ways to use text files as a dynamic data source, so you can keep focused on reading your charts and not spending time repeatedly handling text files.
- *The Auto Uploader is going to be released near the release of v11.3, and it will be able to automatically upload text files on a scheduled basis. To utilize please read: AutoUploader Installation and Configuration.
- Updated default colors
- Did you know we have a built-in color library for defining the first 281 colors of a chart? Starting with this release, an update has been made to improve the initial appearance for many of our charts. Don't worry, if you like the old colors, or want to use colors of your own, we have always offered Color Palettes for quickly changing your chart colors.

- Data Hub: ETL Canvas will be able to auto-expand to accommodate large jobs
- There are already ways to execute ETL jobs from within an ETL job. But this improvement allows you to simply expand the canvas to accommodate an unlimited number of tasks within a single ETL job.
- Data Hub: New task, "Execute SQL Script"
- This task is one of the most powerful, and flexible tasks in our library of 30x ETL tasks! The task can execute one or more arbitrary SQL statements, collectively called a "script" against a Data Store. The script can execute once or multiple times — once for each row of incoming data. Or, a script can execute without any consideration of the incoming data set if you want to do something like dropping a table systematically.
- "Clear your cache"
- We have changed a core technology within iDashboards. Improving server/client relations. This improvement will result in a drastic reduction for the need to clear your cache when upgrading to v11.3a and when upgrading after v11.3a.
- Stay connected with iDashboards events and news
- This is a beta launch, which some people can voluntarily opt-in, for free, if you qualify.

Logging with Log4j
- Reference: CVE-2021-44228 Log4j - Zero Day Java Exploit
- In December 2021, a massive vulnerability was found within Log4j. The versions of Log4j identified to have the vulnerability was v2.0 and v2.14.1.
- iDashboards has used Log4j version 1.2.17 since v10.0a (released on 05/30/2019) and has never used v2.0 or higher.
- The vulnerability within Log4j was found within the use of JMSAppender.
- iDashboards has never used the JMSAppender component.
- iDashboards was not at risk from the Log4j vulnerability.
- Log4j has been entirely removed from iDashboards v11.3a (this release) and no service releases will occur to remove Log4j from a previous release - since there was not a vulnerability anyway.
Replacement of Log4j
- The component of Log4j that was used by iDashboards was minimal and a decision by development to entirely remove the library was implemented in this release of v11.3a. This decision was made to avoid false-flags by scanning software and inquiries by customers or prospects who are concerned about any connection between "Log4j", "Vulnerability" and "iDashboards". The task of removing Log4j allowed us to make improvements in our application logging. Moving forward, existing customers will see a small difference in the administrative logging screen. Behind the scenes, the file pruning method has been improved too.
