Auto Uploader
Since v11.3 there are More ways to use TXT/CSV files as a data source. With, TXT/CSV files still being a popular source of data for certain implementation needs, we now have multiple ways to use text files as a dynamic data source, so you can keep focused on reading your charts and not spending time repeatedly handling text files. *The Auto Uploader released with v11.3, will be able to automatically upload text files on a scheduled basis. iAuditor for CSV
You can use a connection with iAuditor for Automated CSV Exports with iDashboards. iDashboards is able to connect to an iAuditor by using an open source software development kit (SDK) driver. A software development kit (SDK) is a collection of software development tools in one installable package.
- Configure iAuditor Export Tools using Safety Culture Python SDK
- Once export tools are configured you will be able to see the csv export, media, etc as desired in your iauditor_exports_folder
Data Connection
Follow the steps below to set up a data source in iDashboards Admin or Data Hub.
- Download and install the CSV Driver in the iDashboards drivers directory:
- C:\Program Files\iDashboards_SRV\ivizgroup\drivers
- Then configure a data connection to iAuditor.csv by logging to iDashboards Admin or Data Hub
- Click on Data Sources then New
- The Database URL will point to the directory containing file
- Datatypes may be defined in the driver properties or within an ETL job
- Driver Class: org.relique.jdbc.csv.CSVDriver
- Quote Characters: Quotation Marks
- Select Quote Table and Column Names as well as Allow Custom Queries
- Fill out all of the highlighted fields below:
- Click Save
- The Database URL will point to the directory containing file
