New Features

Chart Thumbnails

We’re excited to introduce chart thumbnails to our Builder navigation! This new feature provides a realistic preview of your charts, making it easier to visually identify what to open or use. 

• New Charts
  • A chart thumbnail is created each time a chart is saved.
  • Settings applied within the Chart Designer will be used when generating the chart thumbnail.
• Existing Charts
  • After migration to v12.11, existing charts do not have thumbnail.
    • Manually open and save the chart to generate a thumbnail. Or,
    • Batch process the thumbnail generation.

AI Generate Improvements

• Use AI to help quickly generate your content within the following areas of the application. When possible, macro values will be automatically placed. 
  • Send Email Task (both email and PDF report)
  • All Templates
  • Alert Emails
  • Form Emails
  • Presentation Chart Content
  • KB Article Content
  • Chart and Dashboard Report Editor
  • Details Chart or within an HTML dashboard panel

• Within the Data Hub, you can now use AI Generate within the "Replace" task, whenever using the Regular Expression setting. AI Generate can help generate the replacement string as well as the find regex when capture groups are used.

AI Insights Improvements

• Context-specific suggestions will now help you get started at the click of a button. First, use AI Insights 

Other Updates

• Tabular Chart Family - Font Italics have been added to Cell and Header properties
• Stacked Charts - The legend sequence order has been changed to better match the chart sequence
• Forms - Added a property to handle vertical alignment within Field Groups
• Google Analytics API - Last updated in v12.7, the Google Analytics API changed from the UA model to the GA4 model. This release, we made improvements on handling unmapped entries. If the API is unable to find substitutes/replacements the Dimension/Metric will be removed.
• UI - Improved the Toggle Slider to be easily understandable for all.
• Updated the TinyMCE plugin from v5.10.9 to v6.8.4.
• Various bug fixes
  • Fixed an issue with the Dashboard Launcher where the Dashboard Thumbnails were not found.
  • Fixed the home button position when using the Embedded Viewer
  • Improved the UX for focus-in when using a dropdown field, which now prevents the dropdown from auto-expanding when a dialog appears.
  • Fixed a Dashboard Viewer issue where a minimized panel would leave a triggered button as active.
  •  Data Hub - Fixed a Clone Table issue when using an Oracle database table containing date/Datetime.

Hosted

If you have a hosted subscription with iDashboards, your instance will be updated in coordination with your Client Success Manager.

On-Premise

To upgrade use the Product Download Site to download the product media (for new clients, you will download the Production Installer.) If you have used the Product Download Site in the past, you will use the same credentials. If you have not, please contact your Client Success Manager and we can help you obtain your credentials. The credentials are often found in your license update emails, beneath the licensing information, you will see download URL, username, and password.
