Alerts Issue: Not Firing with Parameters

Issue:

While using parameters in a chart, Alerts are not firing. Alerts are a mechanism that notifies iDashboards users that certain conditions exist within chart data. These Alerts are scheduled to monitor the data in your data sources but have no interaction with the user. The alert server is not able to set the value of a parameter, it needs to be set by the chart. Alerts will not fire if the dashboard or chart parameters are created without an Initial Value.

Resolution:

Add an Initial Value to the dashboard or chart Input Parameter.
