This requires being connected to your server.
Issue:
When working with Reports in an environment where WebLogic is the application server running iDashboards, a 500 error message is received in the browser when trying to view any chart as a report.
500 – Internal Server Error
When looking at an idashboards.log file you will see the following error message:
[ERROR][2012-12-06 14:55:16,266][REQ-ID:19][ReportPluginImpl] sendReport(): ERROR: org.eclipse.birt.report.engine.api.EngineException: An exception occurred during processing.
Please see the following message for details: Cannot open the connection for the driver: com.ivizgroup.idb.oda
Resolution:
- From C:\Program Files\iDashboards_SRV\Server\webapps\idashboards\WEB-INF\lib copy the js.jar file and paste it into the Java Extension Library Path, which can be found through:
- iDashboards Admin -> System-> About: Java Extension Library Path
- C:\Program Files\iDashboards_SRV\jre\lib\ext
- For Older Installations:
- C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_241\jre\lib\ext;C:\Windows\Sun\Java\lib\ext
- iDashboards Admin -> System-> About: Java Extension Library Path
- Restart the iDashboards/Tomcat service (iDashboardsSRV)
