v12.6 includes another AI feature called AI Command, improved user management, updated dialog style and more.

New Features

  • AI Command
    • Speak into AI Command and open any dashboard!
      • Pre-configure an AI Command to open a specific dashboard. This process allows for handling dashboard parameter values!
      • If a pre-configured command doesn't exist, AI Command will still be able to interpret your dashboard request and perform advanced queries on your dashboards, which may result in zero, one, or multiple dashboard options for you to choose from.
      • Using the new AI Command dashboard panel, place the AI Command button onto any dashboard (mobile or desktop) and bring the power of AI into any dashboard experience!

  • Dashboard Panel updates
    • Most dashboard panels now have cursor interaction (we're working on making this 100% in a near service release).
    • Improved labeling
  • Dashboard Reports
    • A new configuration option now supports Landscape mode
  • Chart Designer Number Formatting
    • A new preview area will show live feedback when configuring numeric formats. 

Administrative

  • User Disablement
    • Disable a user account to immediately prevent logins, prevent participation in receiving user alerts and user reports. 
    • A disabled user will still count against the total licensed users
    • A disabled user cannot reset their password

  • Multi-User Deletion
    • It is now possible to batch delete users when multiple users are selected from the administrative interface. 
    • Works great alongside user disablement. Disable user accounts on an as-needed basis and then perform less frequent administrative cleanup in batches by deleting all disabled user accounts.

Data Hub

  • Target Table Improvements
  • Data Preview Improvements
  • Additional Filter conditions
      • Data Sets, connected to database tables, can now use "LIKE" and "NOT LIKE" filter conditions.

 

Upgrading

Hosted

If you have a hosted subscription with iDashboards, your instance will be updated in coordination with your Client Success Manager.

On-Premise

To upgrade use the Product Download Site to download the product media (for new clients, you will download the Production Installer.) If you have used the Product Download Site in the past, you will use the same credentials. If you have not, please contact your Client Success Manager and we can help you obtain your credentials. The credentials are often found in your license update emails, beneath the licensing information, you will see download URL, username, and password.
