- New Calculated Fields:
- Provide real-time calculated values while filling out a form with your data. Common examples are for displaying sub-totals or totals based on simple addition and multiplication of fields. However, various formula options exist based on what needs to be achieved.
- Use any numeric Form Field as part of a Calculated Field.
- Use Calculated Fields in sequence with additional Calculated Field.
- Considerations include: Treat null values as zero, Negative Values, Divide by Zero, Non-Declared Variables, Circular Dependency, Import / Export, and more.

- within the chart
- within the Administrative application, for all shared alerts
- Copy Alert(s) when copying a chart. Doing this will disable the copied alert(s) within the new chart.
- Individualized Alerts
- If the user macro ${user} appears in the chart or a user filter is set, then the alert will check the condition for each recipient based on their data and send them an alert if applicable.
- A new "Actions" tab now consolidates existing and new features related to the configuration of an Alert.
- Public Content
- Enabled by an administrator, a special "public" folder can now expose image content without authentication into the application. One example for how to use this feature surrounds the idea for sending emails with logos to an account which is not actively logged in.
- Highlights:
- Under normal operations, Files (typically image files) uploaded into the content repository may be used for various purposes throughout the application. A typical example would be as background images for charts or dashboards. However, when the Public Content feature is enabled, a Content subfolder, called “public”, will be automatically created on the operating system. If an existing folder called "public" exists, then this folder will become the public folder to bypass authentication.
-
The “public” folder supports subfolders.
- Within the application, the "public" folder will appear as a different color compared to authenticated folders.
-
When the feature is enabled, any new or existing image within the public directory will immediately become publicly accessible without authentication. This includes all content within the sub-folder of the public directory.
-
At this time, TruOI/iDashboards reserves the right to disable the public directory for hosted models where the intended use does not align with bandwidth or usage limits.
- QR Code Panel
- QR Codes can now easily be placed onto a Dashboard! This feature is a self-contained, no-third-party, QR Code technology to help create a quick way to share URLs with camera-capable smart devices.
- UI/UX improvements:
- Primarily within the Administrative interface, a focus indicator (for tabbing or typing) has been implemented throughout most of the application. This will improve the experience for power users and viewers who can now expect the first focus of a dialog to highlight the most logical "starting position".
- Additionally, pressing the Escape key, once, will blur a focused control (which is a default browser behavior). Pressing escape again will close/cancel/done the dialog. Pressing CTRL+Enter will submit the dialog.
- For consistency, a number of buttons and button labels were changed in appearance, but keeping the same function.
- Improved the object browser by simplifying how folders/sub-folders are created, renamed or deleted

Administrative
- Import/Export:
- Chart Alerts can now export and import between repositories.
- Image handing has been improved to resolve the content URL objects are exported and imported into another repository, even when the target instance uses a different context path.
-
This is true provided the image is inserted by the Image Content dialog, and the image exists at the same location in the content folder tree in both repositories.
-
Note: The chart or alert must be saved in the designer with the current code before it’s exported.

Data Hub
- UI/UX improvements:
- Now, when placing images into the Send Email task, or other parts of the Data Hub, the full Image Content dialog will appear rather than a reduced-feature image dialog.
