- v12.2b (05/08/2023)
- v12.2c (05/09/2023)
New Features
- Form Improvements
- Drill to Form: This new option will allow a chart to navigate into a form with the purpose of helping a user add information into a form, edit an existing form record, or a combination of the two (add/edit).
-
- Form Query: The experience for querying form data has been improved for ease of use and greater value.
- Entering into "Search" mode is now easier. And when the form data results are displayed, there is better feedback on the view, edit, or delete capability for the user who is performing the search.
- Data columns no longer 'auto-update' once the Form has been saved. This change in behavior will ensure database columns don't get renamed and cause downstream issues with ETL or Chart connections.
- In-Line Help: To make things easier, more tooltips and in-line documentation to help learn the highlights before having to dig into the documentation.
- View Form: In addition to viewing form records within a tabular layout, a user can now view and navigate form records within the layout of the form. If the record can be edited, it's now possible to quickly change form values. If the record can be deleted, that can be quickly accomplished too!
- Form Query: The experience for querying form data has been improved for ease of use and greater value.
-
- Customize Form Button Appearance:
- Users can now control the default appearance settings for the Form button label, color and choice of displaying built-in icons. Additionally, these defaults can be centrally configured by the administrator and automatically used for all future forms. When the situation arises to deviate from this standard, the button appearance settings can be overridden within the form itself or even when placing the form into a dashboard panel.
- Buttons have been improved to be more responsive based on the form width.
- Customize Form Button Appearance:
- New Meter Chart:
- An all new Meter chart has been included in this release. This chart combines the simplicity of an informative, interactive, and easy to understand visualization along with a highly customizable variety of labeling options!
- Each meter represents one record of data
- Meters will vertically scroll up/down if all the meter graphs cannot fit into the dashboard frame
- Advanced Search:
- The first introduction for performing an advanced dashboard search has been included in this release. This will be visible to Viewers but especially helpful to Builders.
- Builders will also be able to perform advanced searches on: Charts, Picklists and Forms.

- Input Parameters:
- UI improvements to match the "Update" button color to match the frame border color of a dashboard (by default, this color will be the user theme color)
- Parameter fields placed in a vertical layout now have an option for choosing the label position
- Left of Control. When the label is placed to the side, the label and the control will be responsive for sharing the same space. This may not work well when the width is narrow.
- Above Control. When the label is placed above the control, the label will be left justified and the control will span 100% of the width of the frame (up to a limit). This works great for wide and narrow frames!
- Horizontal layout has not changed.
- Improvements:
- Chart Designer property retention
Knowledge Base
- File Attachments:
- Articles now support the ability to have file attachments. This includes an experience to open file attachments (in browser or via download if not a browser-friendly file).
- It will be possible to place Articles into dashboards and choose whether or not to expose the file attachments through the dashboard.
Data Hub
- Improvements
- Various UI and dialog improvements
