This may require Admin privileges.
Issue:
I have configured iDashboards to send Mobile Alerts, however I am not receiving any text messages.
Resolution:
- Verify that you have added your phone information in your user account
- This can be done in iDashboards Builder/Viewer
- Select the Menu (same as justified paragraph alignment icon)
- Then User Settings and make sure the following is turned on:
- Recieve alert notifications by Text message
- Then the following are filled in:
- Mobile Carrier
- Mobile Country Code
- Mobile Number
- Long Message Behavior set to Send Entire Message
- Make sure your SMS settings are properly configured in iDashboards Admin
- Select System
- Then System Settings
- On the left click Alerts: Mobile Settings
- Make sure Mobile Notifications Enabled is set to Yes
- Additionally, you must configure your SMTP settings
- On the left select SMTP Settings
- Input the following settings:

If you are continuing to have issues receiving your text alerts, please download the iDashboards log file by logging into iDashboards Admin:
- Go to System
- Select System Logs
- Set General Level to Debug (most verbose)
- Below that check both boxes
- Click Save
- Select idashboards.log
- Click Download
- Email this log file to iDashboards Support
